What is CCAP?

The Community Consortium Against Poverty (CCAP) is an innovative approach that engages the community in the fight against worklessness and poverty. With our community partners, we are building an infrastructure that will help local people achieve their aspirations through local access to employment advice and training programmes.

Based on a history of working in social housing, the Consortium brings together an impressive range of community organisations that are already addressing these issues using their local and specialist knowledge.

CCAP is committed to working with those who are on the margins of mainstream activity, supporting them out of poverty and social exclusion into a wide range of opportunities. We believe that the energy created through this partnership will address these opportunities more effectively and help develop a powerful community alliance against the issues of entrenched poverty.
