Andrew is the chair of Community Consortium Against Poverty and is the lead for health and work in NHS Tower Hamlets. This role entails maximising the value of employment in improving community health, opening opportunities in public sector employment for local people and support health in the workplace. Prior to working in the NHS, Andrew has been involved in running regeneration and employments programmes in the community, private and public sectors.

Derek has more than 10 years experience in the Welfare to Work sector beginning with the Department for Work and Pensions in 1999.

Currently, he is employed by London Borough of Newham (LBN) as Workplace Centre Manager where his responsibilities include working closely with Stratford City development partners, the ODA, the Host Boroughs Team, the LDA and LBN colleagues and partners to ensure the successful implementation of business, employment and training initiatives customised to meet the needs of local developments and residents.

Shamsol has over 10 years experience in the area of pre-employment training and local recruitment. He has research initiated, developed and managed numerous projects in the area of regeneration, employment and training. This has enabled hard to reach and marginalised members of the Tower Hamlets community realise their full potential in developing skills to attain sustainable employment.
